Built by Charles Carringer in Buffalo, MO., we bought the bus in 1999 and have been updating it. Originally it was bought new in 1979 with 100 others of the same type by a city and then went bankrupt. It sat in storage for 10 years then was auctioned off. It was converted in 1998 to it's current status as a Motor Home with most all of the goodies. The interior is solid oak with 1" steel tubing used to frame out all the cabinet work. It has a potty & tub with shower, hot water heater, furnace, microwave , refrig/freezer, stove/oven, 2 roof airs, bus air, 3-100 gl. water tanks, 110 volt service, 250 gallon fuel tanks, big dinette & sleeps 6. We will be adding satellite, awnings, GPS, and leveling devices soon. The bus originally had a V6 but now has an 8V71 with 730 Allison tranny. The bus has less than 113,000 actual miles on it and the engine has less than that. We Love this bus! I am a sheet metal worker for Quaker Oats and Sign painter on the side, My wife Sonya is a Home maker and operates a small vending business. | ||||||||
