King pins for these older Clippers are hard to find if notimpossible. You may possibly find them at some of the older truckor bus parts houses or Bus Lines that used Flxibles. I found aset at Blue Bird bus lines in Olean NY about ten years ago butthey only had one set. Originals were made by Rockwell International.I contacted them several years ago and they are out of production.Part number for the most common complete pin kit including bushingsect. is Rockwell #111. The actual kingpin # is 3101-C-55. Thisis a straight pin, and was the only one used on 1947 to 1951 andpossibly later Clippers. Some of the earlier models before 1947used a tapered pin. You can still find bushings for these straight#111 pins that are the right diameter but are too long, howeverthey can be cut down in length to fit. The Rockwell # for thisbushing is 552 R210048. You should be able to find these at NAPA.This could save you as the bushing diameters are slightly oversizeand you can have your pins turned to remove the scratches to fitthe bushings. Be aware that the kingpins are surface hardenedso you will have to have the machine shop re-surface harden yourpins.
There is a company called Rare Parts Inc. in Stockton, CA Thatpossibly may have what you want. They specialize in
vintage front axle parts. Their part number for the Rockwell kit(#111) is (or was) MO 8295B I don't know if they still
have them...
