Nels Hagan. (FOI431) The bus is a 1956 VL 100 > #10256 . . Shewas the last VL 100 sold to Continental Trailways of Dallas andis reported to have been "Executive Transportation"for the executives of Trailways. The bus was converted in theseventies by Norm Johnson and still retains it's now "classic"avocado green and harvest gold interior colors--what's old isnew again. She has many unique features-- a disappearing instrumentcluster, skylights that open but don't leak like the fixed oftendo, a/c units mounted tastefully on the side and rear rather thanon the roof.
My wife Laurie and two sonsCale and Trace enjoy traveling in it up and down the West coast.Having owned many other vehicles, we feel we have reached thepinnacle of classic busing with this VL 100--most assuredly thebest bus ever produced!
